Mr. Raunak Rathi is a seasoned finance professional and corporate leader with nearly three decades of experience across the Tea, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors. His expertise spans strategic financial management, corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, business restructuring, treasury, taxation, risk management, governance and business transformation.

A Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Gauhati University, Mr. Rathi began his professional career with McLeod Russel India Limited in 1997, where he spent nearly 23 years in progressively senior finance leadership roles. He played a pivotal role in the Company’s acquisition-led growth strategy, contributing to transaction structuring, due diligence, acquisition financing, integration and financial consolidation.

He subsequently held senior leadership positions with Skipper Limited and Apeejay Tea Limited, where he led significant banking and debt restructuring initiatives and the strategic divestment of 16 tea estates. As Chief Operating Officer of Asian Tea Company Limited, he combined financial discipline with operational excellence to drive profitability and organisational performance.

He is widely recognised for his integrity, commercial acumen, analytical capabilities and collaborative leadership, with a strong focus on sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value.
