Suneel currently is the CEO of Rossell Tea (Div of Rossell India Ltd) managing the business and strategic decisions of the company based at the Head office in Kolkata, India.  

A strategically agile agribusiness executive with over 46 years of leadership experience in the tea and agricultural commodity industries. Proven expertise in general management, including plantation operations, supply chain optimization, new business development, marketing, strategic planning. Recognized for consistently delivering exceptional results through strategic vision, operational excellence, and strong interpersonal skills. Prior to Rossell, he was with the Tata group for 36 years leaving them at the end 2015 as Vice President/COO of the Amalgamated Plantations.

Suneel is the Chairman of the Tocklai Tea Research Association which is the oldest Tea research institute being 114 years old and is also the Chairman of the Indian Tea Association. He is on the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Plantation management and National Tea Research Association.
